Merchandise Availability: All merchandise listed on this website is subject to change without notice. Certain items listed may be out of stock or discontinued. Please call before ordering to check stock status if you're in need of your product right away. Discontinued items, that are still available, will be subjected to longer shipping and processing times due to Definitive Pools dealing with the manufacture for shipment.  Shipping: All deliveries are curbside only. You will be contacted by the shipping company to schedule an appointment for delivery. You will be responsible to have help to unload the merchandise off of the carrier. (The driver usually won't help past bringing it to the back of the truck.) For and additional 100.00 you can request a truck with a lift gate, so that the pool will be lowered to the ground. You will have to call Definitive Pools to make arrangements for this service. Most items will ship ground UPS or USPS. All pool kits (above ground / in-ground) and other large items will be shipped common freight lines. All states west of Nevada are subject to additional freight charges. Definitive Pools responsibility with respect to shipments made by common carrier ends with the issues of the bill of lading. Any damages or shortages should be notified to the carrier and to Definitive Pools. Visibly inspect all cartons thoroughly before or after being removed from the freight hauler and note any possible damage on the freight bill. If you do not note the damage on the freight bill there can be no claim made. Check freight bill prior to signing for receipt of the products. If packages are opened, parts could be missing. Check the contents of opened boxes prior to signing freight bill. If all parts are there and merchandise is in good order then proceed with freight bill.  Returns: Merchandise will not be accepted for return without prior written authorization and or an RMA (return merchandise number) number from Definitive Pools. Returned shipments not having prior approval will be refused. All returned merchandise must be new and unused with exception of defective goods. A 10% restocking fee on un-opened merchandise will be applied unless otherwise stated in prior approval. A 16% restocking fee will be applied on all opened merchandise. If a return is needed all goods must be returned freight pre-paid within 30 days after receipt of shipment. Return authorization number must appear on all cartons. Any pool or pool kit that is canceled after shipping will have to pay the freight charges both ways in addition to the restocking and processing fees.  No returns on above ground pools and pool kits Cancellations: All cancelled orders prior to processing will incur a 3% cancellation charge. Any order that is cancelled after processing but before shipment will be subject to a 6% charge.
