When
the Aquabot was introduced in 1983 it debuted as the only robotic pool cleaner that could
remove algae and bacteria, thanks to its exclusive 2 micron filtering system. Sixteen
years later it and its sister models still hold that distinction. There are several new
pretenders on the market, however the cautious and prudent buyer should ascertain the
porisity of the filter system. Anything 20 microns or more have virtually no chance of
filtering and removing algae and bacteria which grow to about this size. The Mark V, often
referred to simply as the "Aquabot," will work in virtually any residential
pool. However, for pools over 36' in length, the faster (6500 sq. ft./min.) Turbo line is
recommended. This classic unit has all the major features of the line, including
independence from the main filter, full pool coverage, minimal maintenance,
microfiltering, etc. |

Following
the long and stunning success of the classic Aquabot, first introduced in 1983, Aqua
Products added a second unit in the early 90's, the revolutionary Aquabot Turbo. The
swimming pool industry was booming and in-ground pools were becoming larger and larger at
the time. The Turbo included stronger motors that would increase the filtering power of
the Mark V 50%, from 2700 gallons per minute to 4200, and the pool surface coverage more
than 100%, from 3000 to 4200 square feet/hour. In the ensuing years, several remote
control versions were added to the line, all of which included the basic Aquabot Turbo
chassis and motors. The Aquabot Turbo includes a seven (7) hour internal timer, a 60'
self-floating power cord, and the strongest filter and drive motors in the industry. With
its added speed and power, this robotic cleaner can easily handle a pool as large as 60'
in length. |

The
Aquabot Solo is an Aquabot Turbo with a single button remote controller that gives the
user who desires occasional manual control the ability to direct the cleaner to any
location in the pool. The Aquabot Solo Turbo is particularly good for a quick clean-up, in
rare instances if the cleaner becomes stuck on a raised drain or unusual obstacle, or to
clean a small portion of the pool at a time. For users who have a frequent need for manual
control, the Aquabot Turbo Remote Control Cleaner is recommended. 4200 gallons of water
filtered per hour. 6500 square feet cleaning coverage per hour. Programmed to make
periodic 90 degree turns for greater cleaning coverage. 60' floating super-thin cord. The
Most Economical Remote Control Cleaner On The Market |

The
Aquabot Turbo Remote Control gives the user Total Control of the cleaner. Want to go over
and over a stain, direct the cleaner into a tight-fitting corner, or quickly clean up an
area where a pesty tree constantly drops leaves in the pool? This is the unit for you!
Particularly recommended for L, lazy L and other unusually-shaped or extremely large pool.
* Automatic or Manual Directional Control
* Allows Spot-Cleaning
* Special programmed microprocessor offers grid cleaning coverage
* Clean a given section of your pool at a time
* Great to concentrate cleaner on stubborn and difficult-to-remove stains
